I’m Dave Chittenden – your friend indeed when you are in need of someone to repair a faulty home appliance.
Back in 2004 I founded my business, The Domestic Appliance Doctor, and since then I have repaired hundreds of faulty appliances in Warminster, Westbury and the surrounding area, including Trowbridge, Melksham, Devizes, Corsham, Chippenham, Bradford-on-Avon and Frome.
I follow a simple philosophy – if it can be fixed, I will fix it. In fact, I’m so confident that I can get your malfunctioning domestic appliance up and running again that I work on a no-fix-no-fee basis, and there’s no call-out fee.
I know that times are hard financially so I am committed to helping local families in West Wiltshire keep their home appliances working for as long as possible before they have to be replaced, no matter what type, make or model it may be. (I am not, however, certified to work on gas appliances.)

I’m a happy man doing a job I love, and one of the reasons for that is that I enjoy interacting with my clients. I’m a “people person” who loves helping others solve a problem, and my appliance repair skills are the way I can do this.
I travel all over the countryside from my home town of Trowbridge, carrying all the equipment I need with me to repair everything from washing machines and electric cookers to vacuum cleaners. The travelling is part of my job satisfaction, because I never tire of the local scenery. When I’m not out and about working I walk for pleasure, always drawn to discover new places and meet new people.
